Gen3 Systems - Keeping up with Demand

Gen3 Systems - Keeping up with Demand
12 June 2018

Gen3’s trading results for 2017 rose by a spectacular 48% year-on-year. The 1st Quarter 2018 result is already >20% ahead of Q1 2017.

Thanks to our close cooperation with automotive giant Robert Bosch and our joint presentation at IPC APEX in 2017, demand for our specialty test systems continues to unabated.

The unique achievement of 6Sigma verification for our Contaminometer (CM Series) demonstrably highlights the significant advantages we have engineered into this test equipment.

This effort has provided the opportunity to introduce a new process control test for the electronics industry that Gen3 have been helping to develop with IEC 61189-5-504 Process Ionic Contamination Testing (PICT). Indeed, it has been accepted to alter IPC-J-STD-001 by abolish the requirement to clean to levels of <1.56µg/cm2 = NaCl and to have it replaced by PICT.

Gen3 has been busy recruiting new additional staff members, both administrative and engineering; to assist our growth in response to growing industry and fast paced, demand.    They will also be extending their facility to facilitate the growth in demand for testing reliability equipment.
